Direct Enquiries and Applications

The UNIT-e software solution has been developed in response to an increasingly competitive education market. It enables your organisation to present a professional, responsive image to any prospective learner as well as providing management information for marketing purposes.

Enquiries
In response to enquiries by phone, letter, in person, via e-mail or over the Internet   UNIT-e Enquiries captures initial contact data, conducts course searches and selects associated media items (such as the prospectus, course leaflets or promotional gifts). Data is recorded against specific curriculum or general subjects of interest. Personalised letters using mail merge or e-mails can be generated, including an application form details already recorded. A respective learner can be sent details of an organisation’s VLE along with a guest login.

Comprehensive reports available provide statistical analysis of enquiries, detailing conversions from enquiries to applications and conversion of applications to enrolments. All data captured is recorded back to the database against each individual record that is then available for marketing and promotions.

Admissions and Extended Applications
Through UNIT-e, applications are accepted by phone, letter, in person, via email or over the Internet  and these can be held as new records or linked to previous enquiries. Applications, both direct and via agencies (UCAS, GTTR, NMAS), can be linked to previous enquiries or entered as new records.

During the admission process, the UNIT-e system enters all response actions against a learner records. Facilities include recording applications, applicant details and qualifications, setting up offers, letters and interview details, facilitating on-line communications with external agencies and forming a complete audit trail of applications throughout the admissions cycle.
 
Staff can access information regarding specific applications, or view statistical information concerning the status of applications for a specified session, course or the organisation as a whole. Individual or block interviews can be scheduled along with the booking of rooms and staff members.

Employer Contact Management
To succeed in today’s competitive business environment, colleges and training providers need to maximise their customer relationships. UNIT-e Employer Contact from Capita Further and Higher Education provides all relevant CRM information in a single, easily accessible location with increased functionality. Details stored include multiple contact details, events associated with the college-employer relationship, essential Health and Safety information, placements information for college students temporarily in the workplace and learners who are employees following a college course as a formal part of their employment.

Marketing Manager
The key functionality of UNIT-e Marketing Manager allows an organisation to set-up and manage all one-off events or complex campaigns, from open days to awards ceremonies. Target individuals or groups of staff and learners, produce invitations, book and allocate resources and monitor uptake to the event to ensure nothing critical is missed. 

Reports are available to monitor responses. Using the Advanced Configuration Toolset  within UNIT-e, users can develop bespoke reports using UNIT-e Report Generator .


Online Services
UNIT-e Online Services application provides a powerful suite of modules allowing prospective students to easily search for courses, make enquiries, submit applications, enrol and make payments all online.

Visitors to an organisation’s website can search for courses on offer using keywords or bespoke categories, access further online course details and brochures and submit an enquiry. Once this stage is complete, application forms can be submitted online. Following this stage, UNIT-e Online Enrolments allows learners to enrol and pay online too.

The Online Services functionality provides fast and simple procedures to engage with applicants anytime, anywhere and increase success of recruitment. Enrolment times are significantly reduced, shortening queues and improving data accuracy. Organisations can also identify early trends for course planning, enabling more efficient resource management that can lead to cost savings and improved income.
