DRS Data Services Limited is a market leader in the field of worldwide educational data capture. Established in 1969, DRS designs and manufactures its own range of OMR, OCR and Imaging technology, along with specially designed forms which enable data to be entered into a computer without using a keyboard, significantly saving administration costs and staff resources DRS also supplies e-registration solutions with use of Biometric, Card and PIN technologies.  This can also be combined and expanded to work with Access Control, Cashless Catering and Exam Candidate Verification.

MRG Systems Ltd

MRG Systems was founded 27 years ago in Stroud, Gloucestershire to provide innovative high-performance information display systems to the stockbroker market using then as-yet unexploited teletext technology.

The company has evolved over the years and now operates in several significant areas of business including Broadcast and Digital Signage.

MRG were awarded the prestigious contract to supply a digital signage system to Portcullis House (The offices for the Houses of Parliament).  The eighty screen installation began in 2000. The specification was clear; the modern new building required an equally modern new signage system. Additionally it had to handle changing situations in real-time and it needed to serve a multitude of functions.

Through that experience we have now developed iMERGE, a digital signage application that uses the very latest technology.  iMERGE employs open source web-browser technology and was developed with Google Web Tools.  As a result everything is remarkably familiar and surprisingly intuitive.  iMERGE and Capita’s UNIT-e system can be linked to accept data that is then displayed on screen.
